Heartsaver AED
The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver AED course is designed to prepare a wide variety of non-healthcare providers, who need to give CPR in a safe, timely, and effective manner to an adult, child or infant. It also provides information on using an AED for adults and children over one year of age.
People who, and as first responders may wish to take this course:
- May need to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the workplace or similar settings
- May need to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- May need to help someone who is choking
- Want or need a course completion card
Pre-registration is mandatory due to class size limitations. Cost for non-employees is $40. For course schedules, fees and more information, please contact the Education Department OFC Coordinator at (209) 223-7469.
